Trump's electoral victory could take Bitcoin to US$ 92, says Bitwise executive

The head of alpha strategies at crypto asset manager Bitwise predicts that Bitcoin could rise as high as US$ 92,000 if Donald Trump wins the US presidency in November.
In an Oct. 22 post on chance of Bitcoin rising after he achieves an electoral victory.
“I project a Trump victory could push BTC to ~US$ 92,000,” Park wrote.
Park's optimistic prediction for Bitcoin adds to a growing list of experts and analysts who expect a Trump victory to drive up the price of crypto assets.
Bitcoin millionaire Erik Finman told Cointelegraph that a Trump election victory could see Bitcoin soar as high as US$ 100,000.
“His policies will ignite the cryptocurrency market, fueling massive growth across all sectors.”
Cryptocurrency has never been so closely linked to the outcome of a single political event. Republican candidate Donald Trump has made pro-crypto policy a cornerstone of his 2024 election campaign.
In a bid to win over single-issue cryptocurrency voters, Trump promised to turn the US into the "crypto capital of the world" and said he would fire Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Gary Gensler on "day one" of his presidency.
Still, not everyone is convinced that a Trump victory would be a long-term win for cryptocurrency markets.
Billionaire investor and businessman Mark Cuban - who has come out in support of Kamala Harris - told Cointelegraph that if Trump wins, cryptocurrency markets will likely "pump for a few weeks" before falling again.
