Elon Musk's political gamble strategy

Willing to spend $1 million to give voters every day, Musk shows that he does not spare money in an effort to help Trump win and score political points for himself.

Billionaire Elon Musk was welcomed in Pennsylvania as a hero, demonstrating the financial strength of the world's richest man.

No longer the usual speeches like the three days of campaigning in this battleground state, Mr. Musk on the evening of October 19 handed out a check worth $1 million to a random attendee at an event in the city of Harrisburg.

The American billionaire promised to give $1 million every day to people in battleground states who sign a petition supporting freedom of speech and the right to bear arms in the US constitution, part of a project by America PAC, a super political action committee (PAC) supporting former President Donald Trump.

Musk's goal is to get nearly a million signatures in battleground states, increasing Trump's chances of winning. This "splashing money" tactic has been praised by some supporters for being able to attract a significant number of interested people without having to buy expensive TV ads in battleground states.

This $1 million-a-day reward initiative can be seen as another sign that the American billionaire is very serious and determined to help Trump win against Democratic opponent Kamala Harris. Musk has donated at least $75 million to America PAC to spend on campaign activities to help the former president.
