Scroll Crypto has officially unveiled its inaugural airdrop, a major milestone for the project. The announcement was made via their X platform, where they shared details about the airdrop, including on-chain bonuses and contributor rewards.
The Scroll airdrop is designed to reward key contributors within the Scroll ecosystem, acknowledging the collective efforts that have driven its growth and success. With a presence in over 30 countries and 100 cities, and partnerships with 90 global organizations, Scroll is making a significant impact in the crypto space.

The Scroll token airdrop will fairly distribute $SCR tokens to contributors based on their involvement and support for the ecosystem. The airdrop targets four main categories of contributors:

- Industry Contributors: Developers, ZK researchers, open-source advocates, and supporters of public goods.

In addition to the base allocations, Scroll has earmarked 5,000,000 $SCR tokens (0.5% of the total supply) for an On-chain Bonus. This bonus will be awarded to eligible participants who meet specific criteria by August 1, 2024, including:
