## Ethereum Co-Founder: 'I Haven't Sold a Single ETH... Its Potential is Limitless' In an interview with X, Ethereum co-founder Anthony Sassano stated, "Ethereum has gone from $10 to $4,900 over the past eight years, and is currently trading around $2,700. Many people have made substantial profits along the way, but I haven't sold a single one. That's because I believe the long-term potential for Ethereum is still enormous." He continued, "I personally expected it to take a long time to deliver on Ethereum's roadmap since 2017. I also expected there to be a lot of risk along the way. It's important to have a longer-term horizon because Ethereum's goal is to create a network that can last for decades. As Ethereum has gotten larger (in terms of market cap) it has become harder to 50x or more in a short period of time. But that also means the risk has decreased. Ethereum is not a perfect project, but it is the closest thing we have to a decentralized network that is constantly improving. I believe that understanding this will lead to fewer arguments about investing in ETH." According to CoinMarketCap, ETH is currently trading at $2,631.91, down 4.12%.
