CoinVoice has recently learned that the crypto payment service provider Transak was recently hit by a ransomware attack, as disclosed by on-chain detective ZachXBT in his personal channel.

Transak stated in a blog post earlier today that the incident was limited to the names and basic identity information of a small number of users, while the ransomware group claims it also includes personal identifiable information (PII) and more user data.

According to Transak's website, it has been integrated with Metamask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase, Ledger, etc., for fiat and cryptocurrency on and off ramps. [Original link]
