NEIRO is a new memecoin launched in 2024, inspired by the dog-themed coin trend, notably following in the footsteps of Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. It was introduced after the adoption of a Shiba Inu dog named Neiro, by Atsuko Sato, the owner of Kabosu, the dog behind the original Dogecoin meme. NEIRO aims to carry forward the legacy of Dogecoin, but with added innovations like smart contracts and zero transaction fees on its Ethereum-based blockchain.
