Sui recently established a center in Dubai, aimed at supporting blockchain developers and entrepreneurs. This center is the first in a series of centers that Sui plans to set up globally, in collaboration with the local blockchain company Ghaf Group. Kostas Chalkias, co-founder and chief cryptographer of the Sui network, stated that he hopes this center can become a hub for hackathons and implementation activities, which is unprecedented in Dubai. His goal is to leverage this center to assist the government in achieving digital transformation and plans to hold monthly hackathons in Dubai to attract more developers and entrepreneurs.

The Sui network, developed by a team of former Meta employees, including Kostas Chalkias, surpassed competitors like Cardano, Near, and Aptos in total value locked (TVL) in February 2024. The Sui network is known for its fast, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure, offering unparalleled speed and a low, predictable fee structure, which means that costs can remain low even during spikes in demand. The Sui ecosystem is continuously expanding, covering multiple different industry sectors.
