According to Deep Tide TechFlow news on October 21, The Block reported that the cryptocurrency wallet MetaMask has announced an integration partnership with the digital identity platform Space ID, aimed at simplifying the process of sending digital assets and accessing crypto wallets. According to the statement, the new integration will allow users to 'replace all public wallet addresses with a single, secure, and customizable handle when transacting on MetaMask.' This means that Space ID users only need to enter a simple username to send cryptocurrencies, instead of using a 42-character alphanumeric string, avoiding the risk of losing funds entirely due to a small mistake.

Space ID is a Web3 domain name and identity platform that allows users to manage their digital assets through a single interface. The company secured seed funding led by Binance Labs in 2022. MetaMask product lead Cristian Montoya stated that the integration of Space ID should enable 'MetaMask users to more easily and securely send and receive cryptocurrencies on any EVM-compatible chain.' Earlier this year, MetaMask developer Consensys acquired the crypto security application Wallet Guard, aiming to enhance the security of non-custodial wallets.
