In April, we introduced Scroll Sessions after our mainnet had been successfully running for six months. Marks were awarded to our community for engaging and contributing to the ecosystemâs growth, from bridging assets to Scroll to participating in DeFi.
Since then, weâve come a long way: Scroll mainnet has been consistently securing over US$ 1 billion of assets for months, and our DeFi ecosystem has blossomed into one of the most advanced across zero-knowledge-powered networks. Scroll has proven to be the secure and scalable chain of choice for apps, assets, and liquidity.
Now, itâs time for the next phase, and weâre laser-focused on elevating our incentive program for everyone, everywhere.
In this new chapter, weâre committed to fostering innovation and building a home where builders can push boundaries and shape the future of decentralized technology.
đžThe next generation of reward programs
Scroll Session 2
Exciting news - Sessions will continue after Airdrop 1! Weâre thrilled to introduce Session 2, where you can continue earning Marks for your participation in Scroll.
Hereâs what you need to know:
We are simplifying Marks. In Session 2, liquidity contributions across Scrollâs ecosystem will count for whitelisted assets, and a new dashboard will display marks for these assets, along with Marks boosts starting with LPing in DEXs.
Marks counters for Airdrop 1 recipients will reset to zero on October 22, 2024. For those not eligible in Airdrop 1, Marks will carry over into Session 2, allowing continued earning in the new phase.
The new Scroll Sessions page and dashboard will be live in just a few daysâstay tuned!

Weâre excited to introduce Scroll Open, a program designed to reward the most innovative, creative, and fast-growing builders on Scroll.
As more talented teams push the limits of what's possible, Scroll Open recognizes the projects that stand out for their talent and contribution to the ecosystem.
Each round, weâll focus on projects that bring real value to the community, prioritising creativity, public goods, and tools that drive meaningful innovation.
Weâll also track key growth metrics like TVL, active wallets, transactions, gas usage, and trading volume to measure both relative and absolute progress.
At the end of each round, the top-performing projects will be retro-awarded SCR token grants and publicly recognized as that roundâs winners.
