*Worldcoin changes name to World and presents new generation of Orb*
From San Francisco, where Sam Altman and Alex Blania were present, Worldcoin has announced its name change to World Network, in addition to the presentation of a new generation of “Orb”, the device with which they can scan the iris of the eye to verify your humanity.
In Blania's words, the name Worldcoin “no longer works” with the company's objective, so it could be a nod to expanding into other areas beyond cryptocurrencies
