According to DL News, Binance Compliance Director Tigran Gambaryan was unable to appear in court in the Nigerian court due to serious illness, delaying the trial for months. Tigran Gambaryan's lawyer Mark Mordi requested a recess to check on his client's health. The judge agreed and postponed the trial to October 25.

 

Binance Financial Crime Compliance Director Tigran Gambaryan has been detained in Nigeria since February. A Nigerian court last week rejected Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan's request for bail due to illness. U.S. lawmakers called him unjustly detained. His lawyers have repeatedly raised his poor health and said he needs surgery.
