Does trading require talent?
Does trading require talent? There is a saying in The Godfather: "People who see the essence in one second and people who can't see the essence of a thing in half a lifetime naturally have different fates." The same applies to the field of trading.
Take mahjong as an example. The rules of mahjong are simple, but it is not easy to play well. It involves technology, experience, emotional management, capital management, etc., which have profound logic. In a card game, one person often wins big, many people lose, or two people win small and lose small. If you want to win money at the mahjong table for a long time, you must not be a big loser first. People who lose big often don't control their emotions, have poor card skills and rely on luck, and controlling emotions is the most important. If you want to be a big winner, you need luck and control your emotions.
The essence of trading profit is to never let yourself lose a lot. If you have talent, you can see this essence clearly. But to do a good job in trading, talent is not the most important thing. You also need a lot of scientific practice to make your behavior consistent and establish a long-term probability advantage. At the same time, to become an excellent trader, you need to have strong will, independent character, good emotional control, determination and confidence, all of which come from continuous training.
In terms of training trading ability:
First, establish and strengthen correct thinking and concepts, which is critical in the first year of entering the market;
Second, establish your own method of dividing the market and clarify the market you can participate in;
Third, solve the problem of how to do it, do subtraction, and optimize your ability to act according to your own conditions;
Fourth, accept your own imperfections, which is the highest realm of trading. The so-called talent is a deep understanding of the market, not innate. There is no necessary relationship between good trading and talent. Trading is a combination of science and art, which requires acquired learning, understanding and strict training to make thoughts and actions consistent.
