Binance Futures announced changes to the leverage, margin level and funding rate settlement frequency of the USDⓈ-M REEFUSDT perpetual contract, which will take effect at 09:30 UTC on October 16, 2024.
Binance Futures will adjust the leverage, collateral level and funding rate frequency of the REEFUSDT perpetual contract;
The updated leverage and margin levels will apply to existing and new positions. Traders with open positions before the update are advised to adjust their positions and leverage to reduce liquidation risks.
Increase the frequency of funding rate
Starting from 09:30 on October 16, Binance will adjust the funding rate payment frequency of REEFUSDT perpetual contracts from once every 8 hours to once every 4 hours, aiming to improve the efficiency of funding rate payments and reflect market dynamics more frequently.
