According to TechFlow, on October 16, Bloomberg reported that according to the latest documents from the U.S. Federal Election Commission (FEC), Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz, the two founders of venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), each donated $2.5 million to a super political action committee supporting Trump.

The two founders announced their support for Trump in July 2024, but had not previously disclosed which Trump-aligned organization they supported. In addition to the above donations, Andreessen also donated an additional $844,600 to Trump's campaign team and the Republican Party, reaching the federal government's limit.
