3AC liquidators Teneo have transferred about $1.02 million worth of Wrapped LUNA Classic (WLD) to the popular cryptocurrency exchange Bybit. The transaction was spotted by an on-chain sleuth, who shared the details on Twitter. Teneo is the court-appointed liquidator for Three Arrows Capital (3AC), a cryptocurrency hedge fund that collapsed in June 2022. As part of its work, Teneo is responsible for recovering and selling the assets of 3AC. The deposit of WLD on Bybit is part of Teneo's ongoing efforts to liquidate 3AC's assets. It is unclear at this stage what Teneo plans to do with the WLD, but it is possible that it will be sold on the exchange in the near future. The price of WLD has been rising in recent days, following the announcement that the Terra Classic community had voted to re-peg the USTC stablecoin to the US dollar. This has led to speculation that Teneo may be able to sell the WLD for a profit. However, it is also worth noting that the cryptocurrency market is currently in a state of flux, and it is possible that the price of WLD could fall in the coming days or weeks.
