This week, nearly $500 million worth of tokens will be unlocked across 20 altcoins, a significant event for cryptocurrency investors, as token unlocks can impact prices. Notable projects like Solana, Arbitrum, AXS, and EigenLayer are set for major unlocks. In total, $215 million worth of tokens will enter circulation in 10 projects, some in large, irregular batches and others gradually.
For example, Tako will release $18.2 million worth of tokens (15% of its circulating supply), while Axie Infinity will unlock $41.5 million in AXS tokens (6.08%). Other major unlocks include Starknet, EigenLayer, and Arbitrum, with varying percentages of their circulating supplies entering the market.
Additionally, several projects like Worldcoin, Solana, and Avalanche will gradually release tokens this week, affecting their circulating supply. These gradual unlocks aim to spread the impact, with Worldcoin unlocking $86 million in tokens over one week, and Solana adding $80 million worth of SOL to circulation.
