Ryan Salame, the former executive of bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange FTX, has officially been sentenced to seven years and six months in prison in May after pleading guilty to two criminal charges last year.
Ryan Salame served as co-chief executive of FTX Digital Markets, a subsidiary of FTX in the Bahamas. He was also the fourth crony in the inner circle of FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) to plead guilty. He is currently being held in Cumberland, Maryland. The federal prison is a medium-sized prison with a maximum capacity of more than 1,000 inmates, according to Bureau of Prisons records.
