A phishing attack has stolen $35 million worth of tokens from a whale.

Security firm PeckShield BlockSec confirmed the incident.

“It appears the attacker lured the victim into signing a permission message offline, and then used the signed permission message to drain the fwDETH token from the victim’s account,” said Yajin Zhou, co-founder of BlockSec.

Within hours of the incident, the price of DETH dropped more than 90% from $2,000 to $100 before recovering to $1,000 again, according to DexScreener.
