According to ChainCatcher, Christine Kim, vice president of research at Galaxy, summarized the 198th Ethereum Core Developer Executive (ACDE) conference call. This week, developers discussed EIPs 7782 and 7783 that may be included in Pectra. The former suggested reducing the slot time from 12 seconds to 8 seconds, while the latter suggested adopting a new mechanism to increase the block gas fee limit.

Developers have not yet made a decision on whether to include these two mechanisms in Pectra or future upgrades; the deadline for submitting Pectra system contract audit proposals is October 11, and accepted proposals will be confirmed no later than October 22; Developers decided to include the EIP 6110 update in Devnet 4; Developers agreed to try to launch Pectra Devnet 4 before the core developer consensus (ACDC) call on October 17;

Additionally, developers are considering a name for the public Pectra testnet. Several naming suggestions that community members have made include MooDeng and Khlong.
