Rune Christensen, the founder of Sky (formerly MakerDAO), has made a notable return to the market by selling 400,000 LDO tokens for 407,269 USDC, averaging $1.018 per token, after a seven-month period of inactivity.
This recent transaction, linked to the address 0x0f89d54b02ca570de82f770d33c7b7cf7b3c3394, marks a continuation of Christensen's strategic sales of LDO tokens he initially received as an early DAO member from Lido Finance on December 17, 2020, when the token was valued at $1.75. Since 2022, he has gradually sold off most of these tokens at an average price of $1.94.
Following this latest sale, Christensen now holds 647,000 LDO tokens, valued at approximately $666,000.
