PANews reported on October 10 that according to X user ∴FreeSamourai∴ (@ErgoBTC), the remaining Ethereum assets of the PlusToken scam, which has revived for the first time since 2021, have begun to be transferred. PlusToken is a crypto Ponzi scheme that started in 2018 and was smashed by Chinese authorities in 2019. The scam had accumulated 194k BTC and 830k ETH. Recently, about 7k ETH was sent to multiple exchanges, indicating that the remaining 542k ETH may be sold, worth about $1.3 billion. These ETH were previously reorganized into 294 addresses in August 2024, and some of them have now flowed into exchanges, including Binance, BitGet, and OkX.
