PANews reported on October 9 that according to a document released on Wednesday, the lawyers of former FTX executive Ryan Salame asked the court to postpone his sentence from October 11 to December 7 in order to treat the injuries he suffered after being attacked by a dog in the summer. This is the second time Salame has requested to postpone his sentence. His lawyers said the government disagreed with their request.

Salame, who served as co-CEO of FTX Digital Markets, was sentenced to seven and a half years in prison last year after pleading guilty. Salame pleaded guilty in September to conspiracy to make illegal political contributions and conspiracy to operate an unlicensed money transmitting business.
