Global asset management company VanEck announced its entry into the venture capital field, launched VanEck Ventures, and plans to raise US$30 million for its first fund, focusing on investing in early-stage startups in the fields of financial technology, crypto assets and artificial intelligence. The fund is led by two former Circle Ventures heads, Wyatt Lonergan and Juan Lopez.
