🥷 According to Coinbase, revealing Satoshi’s identity poses a real risk to investors, and knowing the name of Bitcoin’s creator is no longer important.

“Now that [the Bitcoin network] is global and powerful, discovering Satoshi’s identity is of little more than historical or entertainment value,” said Samir Kerbaj, chief investment officer at Hashdex.

Analysts fear that if Satoshi is identified and alive, he could sell his bitcoins, which could drive the price down.

For a reminder, Nakamoto owns at least 1.1 million bitcoins, worth an estimated $68 billion.
