Musk: If Trump loses, I might be in danger

Elon Musk said Trump could face "retaliation" if he loses this year's presidential election.

Earlier this week, Musk was interviewed by Tucker Carlson, a well-known conservative media personality. On Monday (October 7th) local time, Carlson posted a nearly 2-hour video of the discussion on social media.

Musk said he is "all in" supporting former US President Trump's return to the White House, "in case he (Trump) loses, someone will retaliate against me - this is very likely." Because he often criticizes Harris and Biden.

Musk is concerned that if Harris wins, Democrats will target his company, formerly Twitter, to repeal Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which protects internet companies from liability for content posted by third parties on their platforms.

Last week, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton mentioned that the government should strengthen control over social media, pointing out that the clause allows online platforms to evade responsibility for the content posted by users. Musk said, "They will try to ban it by any means possible," which will immediately lead to the bankruptcy of X, which is already financially strained.

Musk also said that he is likely to be prosecuted federally, and it will be a pure "legal battle", that is, the Democrats hijack the legal system and use cases that lack substantive basis to suppress political opponents. "They will try to sue Company X and sue me."

Last week, Trump returned to Butler, Pennsylvania, where he was previously "assassinated" to hold a campaign rally. Musk was also invited to attend and appeared on stage with Trump. At that time, Musk also wore a black "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) hat.

Musk said that if Trump loses, it will be the last "real election" in the United States. He believes that the Democratic Party has been deliberately transporting illegal immigrants to swing states and then quickly granting them asylum. In exchange, they will vote for the Democratic Party, "so is California, so is New York."

Musk also explained a post he was forced to delete earlier, "No one is even trying to assassinate Biden or Harris." He told Carlson, "No one will bother trying to kill Kamala because it's pointless and (even if successful) you'll just get another puppet."

At the time, Musk's post was criticized by X users because the post might incite violence against Biden and Harris, and the post was subsequently deleted. Musk said that users on the social platform did not understand his sense of humor.
