Canary Capitals Files XRP ETF with SEC
Cryptocurrency investment firm Canary Capital has filed with the US SEC to register a spot XRP ETF, becoming the second firm to apply for the product this month after Bitwise.
đŁ The Canary XRP ETF gives investors âthe ability to access the XRP market through a traditional brokerage account without the potential barriers to entry or risks associated with purchasing and holding XRP directly,â according to an S-1 registration statement filed Tuesday.
The ETF's custodian or administrator has not yet been named, nor is the ticker symbol or fee amount known.
Canary Capita was founded by Stephen McClurg, former co-founder and chief investment officer of Valkyrie Funds, issuers of the Valkyrie Bitcoin ETF.
