HBO's documentary Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery has officially premiered. After much anticipation from the community, the movie revealed that Peter Todd is Satoshi Nakamoto - the inventor of Bitcoin. However, this has caused many negative reactions.
Specifically, Peter Todd is a core developer of the Bitcoin network as well as an experienced software developer. He is currently 39 years old and lives in Canada. Todd has denied all of HBO's information and frankly said: "I am not Satoshi Nakamoto".
Many Researchers also found that HBO's movie was not well-reasoned and had too much nonsense. Analyst Adam Cochran criticized the film for making baseless and ignorant speculations about Bitcoin technology, failing to provide any clear evidence to prove that Peter Todd is Satoshi Nakamoto.
