According to TechFlow, Botanika, a startup focused on ultra-scalable decentralized data storage solutions, has announced the completion of a $1.5 million angel round of financing. This round of financing attracted 30 angel investors, including A&T Capital general partner Jasmine Zhang and Accenture principal Aamer Chaudhry and other well-known industry figures.

"Botanika aims to innovate in a long-neglected area - secure storage and transmission of the surging data streams on the Internet, especially driven by emerging technologies such as generative AI," said Siwon Kim, co-founder and CEO of the company. "Our patented solution has the potential to not only surpass existing decentralized storage platforms, but also compete with some of the largest centralized storage services providers."
