Blockchain security firm Peckshield has uncovered the alleged address of the UwU Lend hacker laundering an additional 2,009 ETH (worth around $4.9 million) using the Tornado Cash protocol. The address has now laundered a total of 6,353 ETH through Tornado Cash, a privacy-focused mixing service, since the initial attack in June that resulted in the theft of around $20 million in cryptocurrency from UwU Lend via a flash loan attack. The laundering activity has raised concerns within the cryptocurrency community, as it could be an attempt to obfuscate the trail of stolen funds and make it more difficult for law enforcement to recover them. Peckshield has been closely monitoring the situation and has been providing updates on the hacker's activities. The firm has also urged exchanges and other cryptocurrency service providers to be vigilant and to take steps to prevent the laundering of stolen funds.
