Decentralized protocol Router Protocol recently announced the integration of Solana, a move that enables Solana to communicate with more than 25 blockchain networks, including EVM and non-EVM compatible chains such as Ethereum, Avalanche, Polygon, and NEAR.
Through Router Protocol's Cross Chain Intent Framework (CCIF), Solana developers can now build decentralized applications (dApps) with seamless cross-chain communication capabilities. In addition, Solana's major NFT markets, such as Magic Eden, and DeFi protocols such as Raydium and Jupiter, can now provide cross-chain services, including new markets, liquidity pools, and broader user engagement.
In addition, Router Protocol's integration also supports Solana's Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) projects such as Helium and Hivemapper, allowing them to collaborate across chains and drive more innovative decentralized physical resource sharing solutions. This integration brings new cross-chain capabilities to Solana, which may redefine the user experience on the network and bring more growth opportunities to areas such as DeFi, NFTs, and gaming.
