Trump Gains Big Advantage Over Harris in Presidential Race, Polymarket Bets Shows

Earlier Monday morning, at 11 a.m. ET, Polymarket shared, “Trump’s lead is up to 8.6% in today’s odds. He’s approaching his largest lead since Kamala Harris entered the race.”

As of 12:11 p.m., Polymarket's numbers show Trump still holding a 53% chance, with Harris holding at 46.4%. In key swing states, Trump leads in Arizona, Georgia and Pennsylvania, while Harris wins Wisconsin, Michigan and Nevada. But Trump's odds in the popular vote have dropped to 26%, with Harris holding steady at 76%.

Currently, Polymarket oddsmakers are predicting a Republican presidency, with a Republican-controlled Senate and a Democratic House. Meanwhile, other betting platforms are showing different odds. Covers.com, for example, shows a tight race, with both Trump and Harris tied at 52.4%. On betohio.com, Harris has a 55.6% chance, compared to Trump's 50%.

Predictit.org gives Harris a 53% lead, but Trump has recently moved up to 51%. Predictit.org also says Trump is likely to win the Electoral College. While Trump leads in key areas, the differences between the betting sites highlight the competitive and unpredictable nature of this race, with both candidates facing a difficult road ahead to securing the presidency.
