ChainCatcher reported that according to Coindesk, Dmitry Tokarev, CEO of crypto custody company Copper, plans to withdraw from the company's daily operations and resign as CEO, according to two people familiar with the matter. One person familiar with the matter said that Copper is looking for a successor.

Dmitry Tokarev, who helped found the company in 2018, will remain deeply involved in the business. He remains a significant shareholder in the company. There have been other recent executive departures. Last month, founding partner and chief business officer Boris Bohrer-Bilowitzki left to become CEO of blockchain company Concordium. Mike Milner, global head of revenue, also left to join Concordium after five years at the company. Dmitry Tokarev has been at the helm of Copper, an institutional-focused digital asset storage company, since its inception. He graduated from Imperial College London with a degree in risk management and financial engineering.
