The whale from the Satoshi era is active again: Spawning Conspiracy Theories.

According to blockchain analytics firm Arkham Intelligence, an anonymous

Bitcoin whale transferred a total of

$3.6 million worth of BTC to the

Kraken exchange.

The Bitcoin in question was mined in early 2009, just a month after BTC was launched, which adds to the intrigue of this large-scale transaction.

"A Bitcoin whale holding over $72.5 million worth of Bitcoin mined in February and March 2009 sent $3.58 million worth of BTC to Kraken yesterday," Arkham wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

The latest transaction follows another one where the same whale sent five Bitcoins to Kraken on September 24.

Interestingly, the whale's latest transfer coincided with the release of a trailer for an HBO documentary that aims to uncover the true identity of Bitcoin's anonymous founder, Satoshi Nakamoto. The documentary is set to air next Wednesday, leading to speculation that the timing of these transactions may be related.

In a similar incident last August, Arkham reported that 10,000 Bitcoins, worth around $600 million at the time, were transferred to a Coinbase Prime wallet.
