Shocking: HBO to Reveal Satoshi Nakamoto's True Identity

An upcoming HBO documentary delves into Bitcoin lore, sparking fresh speculation about who might be Satoshi Nakamoto.

The upcoming HBO documentary, “Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery,” promises to reveal new information about the identity of the anonymous Bitcoin founder, Satoshi Nakamoto, which has caused a stir in the Crypto Twitter community.

The film will explore who actually invented Bitcoin and its impact on the global economy.

Director Cullen Hoback helms the film, with Adam McKay, the man behind “The Big Short,” serving as producer.

The trailer focuses on an interview with Adam Back, a British cryptographer who received an email from Satoshi in 2009.

Despite being considered a potential candidate, Back has denied being Satoshi.

The main focus is on whether the person the film identifies is still alive, as wallets linked to Satoshi still hold 1.1 million BTC, worth $67 billion.

If the individual is alive, control of this amount of Bitcoin could cause panic in the market.

The film will premiere on Max on October 8.
