Ripple Case Far From Over, SEC Chairman Gary Gensler to Continue Fight
Despite dropping the lawsuit against Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and Executive Chairman Chris Larsen, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) continues to pursue the rest of its case involving Ripple. Fox reporter Eleanor Terrett revealed on the X platform that all other aspects of the lawsuit, including all bids and sales related to the XRP cryptocurrency, remain unresolved.
Citing sources within the SEC, Terrett indicated that Chairman Gary Gensler intends to fight on, signalling no plans of retreat in the agency's legal battle against Ripple. Given the unique precedent the case will set, stakes remain high for both the crypto industry and regulators alike.
