According to TechFlow, TechCrunch reported that Musk's artificial intelligence startup xAI recently moved into a new office in San Francisco's Mission district: the same building as OpenAI's headquarters, which had been located here for many years.

Musk’s lawyers recently claimed in a lawsuit that he originally rented the office while an OpenAI employee and has been paying for it ever since. Musk reportedly put the building up for sublease in August while OpenAI moved to a new office just four blocks away.

xAI held an open house at its new office Tuesday evening, just hours after OpenAI’s developer day. xAI employees told an attendee that they had just moved into the office on Monday but would still work mostly out of xAI’s Palo Alto office.

Musk recently said he would move his companies from California to Texas, but xAI may be an exception.
