Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken stops Monero support in the EEA 🚫

- Kraken announced that it will stop trading and depositing Monero (XMR) in the European Economic Area (EEA) from October 31, 2024.

- Reason: regulatory and compliance obligations.

- Users can withdraw XMR until December 31, otherwise the tokens will be converted to BTC and distributed on January 6, 2025.

- The price of XMR fell by 8% after Kraken's announcement.
