Jupiter: Voting for the 215 million unallocated JUP processing proposal has ended, and the ASR plan will be extended for another year
Foresight News reported that Jupiter posted a message stating: The ASR voting has ended, and "Renew ASR for another year" has won. The ASR program will be extended for another year and will end on September 30, 2025, with the remaining 1.5 million JUP tokens returning to the community multi-sig. This vote also concluded the quarterly ASR rewards, and the new DAO page and ASR claim will be released within 2 weeks.
Foresight News previously reported that Jupiter co-founder Meow released a draft proposal to handle the 21.5 million unallocated JUP tokens, which were from the unclaimed or unreallocated portion of the Jupuary airdrop earlier this year. The proposal presented three options: 1) Use the tokens for the next year's active staking rewards (ASR) program; 2) Burn the tokens; 3) Return the tokens to the community multi-sig wallet.
