Ripple (XRP) is facing growing concerns as scam allegations rise, particularly surrounding its upcoming stablecoin, Ripple USD (RLUSD). Ripple has issued a new statement clarifying that RLUSD is still in its beta phase and is not yet available for public use. The company emphasized the importance of caution, urging users to be on the lookout for any suspicious claims about RLUSD distribution.
As part of its private beta test, which started on August 9, Ripple minted over 1.7 million RLUSD on both the Ledger (XRPL) and Ethereum networks. Despite some data circulating about RLUSD, Ripple made it clear that any current offers are likely scams.
To stay safe, Ripple encourages everyone to rely only on official updates and avoid engaging with unverified sources regarding RLUSD.
