I hate wars.
The leaders declare war,
And they talk big from their podiums.
They send out the orders, shake hands in fancy rooms, and sleep sound at night.
But who pays the price?
It’s not them. It’s never them.
It’s the people on the ground, the ones whose lives get shattered while the suits keep playing their power games.
They profit, they posture, they move their chess pieces.
