ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, the European Union is working with top global experts to develop the first "Code of Practice" for general artificial intelligence models, which aims to establish new transparency and risk management standards through its "Artificial Intelligence Act".

According to an announcement released by the European Office of Artificial Intelligence, nearly a thousand experts in academia, industry and society participated in this work, and the final draft is expected to be completed in April 2025.

The code will be applied to widely used artificial intelligence models, such as large language models (LLMs), and will cover key issues such as transparency, copyright, risk assessment and internal governance. It aims to set new standards for global artificial intelligence governance and balance security and innovation needs.
