According to data from Santiment, a significant increase in whale activity has been observed in 10 altcoins with a market cap exceeding $2 billion in the past week. This list includes well-known altcoins such as Injective (INJ), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), and Shiba Inu (SHIB).
Injective (INJ), in particular, has seen the biggest increase in whale activity over the past week; this altcoin has seen a 456% increase in whale movements.
According to Santiment data, other altcoins on the list include Maker (DAI), Pepe (PEPE), Tether (USDT), Ethena (USDe), Dogecoin (DOGE), Wrapped eETH (weETH), and Optimism (OP).
Among cryptocurrencies with a market value of at least $2 billion, the projects that saw the highest increase in whale activity compared to the previous week are as follows:
