Sentient co-founder Himanshu Tyagi elaborated on Sentient’s vision for an open AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) economy, driving AI developers to collaborate and monetize models through a decentralized marketplace. Mizu co-founder Sam Z highlighted how the Mizu decentralized AI data collection platform is revolutionizing data collection and sharing, providing a scalable decentralized AI system infrastructure. The panelists agreed that the combination of cryptocurrency and blockchain is democratizing AI development, enhancing trust, and promoting innovation.
DePIN x AI Panel: Moderated by Hack VC partner Chichi Hong, the panel explored the powerful synergies between decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePIN) and artificial intelligence (AI). Hyperbolic CEO Jasper Zhang opened the panel by introducing how Hyperbolic leverages DePIN decentralized cloud computing resources to make AI models more efficient and scalable on distributed infrastructure. Aquarius partner Lin Yang analyzed the new trend of on-chain asset liquidity and the combination of AI and dePIN from an investment perspective, and the new scenario of using on-chain asset value to enhance security. Zero Gravity CTO Ming Wu emphasized how DePIN allows AI systems to access real-time, distributed data, thereby improving the scalability and security of the system. NEAR ecosystem leader Jarrod Barnes introduced how NEAR incentivizes participation and development of the DePIN network through a decentralized token economy to ensure that AI thrives in a decentralized environment. The panel summarized how the combination of DePIN and AI subverts the traditional centralized model and provides more fair, scalable and secure solutions involving industries such as cloud computing, IoT and logistics.
