A US District Court judge has dismissed a class action lawsuit filed by investors against Bitcoin miner Iris Energy. The investors claimed the mining firm concealed significant risks and misled investors during its 2021 IPO.
Judge Jamel Semper said the plaintiffs failed to prove that IREN intentionally made false statements. The plaintiffs argued that Iris Energy provided misleading information in its IPO documents and afterwards. However, the court emphasized that Iris was not obligated to disclose all the details about the loan financing.
