According to TechFlow, on September 30, Coindesk reported that the banking as a service (BaaS) platform OpenPayd announced the introduction of two senior executives from the cryptocurrency master broker FalconX. Lux Thiagarajah and Richard Usher will officially join the company's London office on October 1. Thiagarajah will serve as the director of growth, while Usher will serve as the director of trading. It is worth noting that the two will still maintain contact with FalconX as consultants to assist it in expanding its foreign exchange trading business.

Both new executives have extensive foreign exchange trading experience. Thiagarajah was previously the head of commercial foreign exchange at FalconX, and previously served as chief revenue officer at crypto payment company BCB Group, and has worked at investment banks such as JPMorgan Chase and HSBC. Usher was previously the head of foreign exchange trading at FalconX and was responsible for over-the-counter trading at BCB, and has also worked at JPMorgan Chase and Royal Bank of Scotland.
