**Nvidia CEO: AI Needed to Combat AI Misuse**

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang emphasized that combating the darker uses of artificial intelligence (AI) will require more AI. Speaking at the Bipartisan Policy Center, Huang stated, "AI is going to be producing fake data and false information at very high speeds," necessitating equally rapid AI to counteract it.

Huang likened this to evolving cybersecurity practices, noting that nearly every company faces constant hacking threats. He urged the U.S. government to become an AI practitioner, not just a regulator, suggesting the creation of an AI supercomputer.

Concerns about AI-driven misinformation are high, especially with upcoming federal elections. A recent Pew Research survey revealed that nearly 60% of Americans are worried about AI creating fake information about presidential candidates. Additionally, reports indicate that Russia and Iran are using AI to influence the election by altering videos of Kamala Harris' speeches.

Huang also speculated that AI's energy consumption will increase significantly, suggesting that future AI data centers could be built where there's excess energy, making them more efficient.

As AI continues to evolve, its role in both creating and combating misinformation will be crucial.
