Will Elon Musk Become the First Trillionaire in History?
A report issued by Informa Connect Academy stated that Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, could become the first trillionaire in the world by 2027, if his wealth continues to grow at the current rate of 110% annually.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Musk is currently the richest person in the world with a fortune estimated at $237 billion. Although 8 global companies, such as Apple and Microsoft, have exceeded the trillion-dollar mark in market value, no one has achieved this number on a personal level yet.
According to the Informa report, Jensen Hwang, CEO of Nvidia, Gautam Adani, founder of the Adani Group, and Prajojo Pangestu, founder of Barito Pacific, are expected to join Musk in the trillionaire club in 2028, if their wealth continues at the current growth rates.
The report also indicated that Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Meta, may reach this financial milestone by 2030.
Musk's wealth is closely linked to his stake in Tesla, where he owns 20.5% of the company's shares. However, this wealth has witnessed significant fluctuations over the past years.
