Odaily Planet Daily News: A New York judge ruled that the criminal case of Tornado Cash developer Roman Storm will enter the trial process. The U.S. Department of Justice accused Storm and his colleague Roman Semenov of three crimes, including conspiracy to launder money, operating an unlicensed remittance business, and violating the International Emergency Economic Powers Act. The charges involved assisting the North Korean hacker group Lazarus Group to launder more than $1 billion. Storm has pleaded not guilty to all charges, and the defense team said he only wrote the code for Tornado Cash. The trial is scheduled to begin on December 2, and if convicted, Storm could face up to 45 years in prison. (CoinDesk)
