According to the news from Bijie.com, Huatai Securities Research Report stated that copper connections include copper cables and connectors. In short-distance scenarios, high-speed copper connections have advantages in cost-effectiveness, stability, and power consumption compared to fiber optic connections, and are becoming the preferred solution for short-distance transmission of AI clusters. NVIDIA released the GB200 series racks in March, in which backplane connections, near-chip connections, and I/O connections between cabinets all use copper connection solutions. Huatai Securities estimates that the value of copper connections corresponding to GB200 cabinets will be 24.5 billion yuan in 2025. Looking ahead, NVIDIA's new solution is expected to boost demand for copper connections at home and abroad. On the one hand, domestic companies that have entered NVIDIA's industrial chain are expected to benefit, and on the other hand, domestic computing chains are also expected to learn from it and add copper connections to clusters.
