Hamster Kombat Token Launch: Trade HMSTR on Major Exchanges

  • Hamster Kombat (HMSTR) token launches, now tradable on multiple major crypto exchanges.

  • Over 60% of HMSTR airdrop claimed, with future distributions planned for season two.

  • Binance supports the HMSTR launch with a 100M token reward pool via the Super Earn product.

The much-awaited Hamster Kombat (HMSTR) token has been launched and can be traded on several exchanges. It is now available on exchanges such as Binance, KuCoin, OKX, Bybit, Bitget, Gate.io, MEXC, and Bitfinex. The launch has caused a buzz among crypto enthusiasts, given the token’s presence within the Telegram platform.

Initial Price Surge

After an hour of being listed, Hamster Kombat was trading at $0.008998 per coin as of press time, down 30.9% from its listing. Its market capitalization was $580.20 million. At its inception, the token was trading at $0.013, and subsequent price changes indicate both the hype and transactions associated with the new token.

The token’s launch also comes with a rather generous airdrop, with 131 million eligible players claiming their portion of HMSTR. The total number of tokens is 100 billion, with 75% going to airdrops. To date, 60% of the supply has been distributed, with a further 15% slated for the second season of distribution via a future airdrop.

Binance Super Earn

Binance also came in to support this launch by providing a product known as the HMSTR Super Earn, whereby users can tether the tokens they hold in exchange for returns. Funds of 100 million HMSTR tokens have been put aside for this particular incentivization program. The Binance Launchpool has distributed 3 billion HMSTR tokens, with 14 billion USDT worth of BNB and FDUSD locked for the program.

The beneficiary users were not all able to get their tokens. Among these users, only 43% got their tokens from the airdrop, while 11.25% of the first season tokens are locked for 10 months to make users hold on to the token for a longer period. Nevertheless, the 30.6 million players who have not selected the withdrawal method can still get tokens directly.

This token launch is significant for Hamster Kombat and is an important challenge for the TON blockchain, which had issues during the DOGS airdrop in August. Earlier, developers had warned that Hamster Kombat would have huge user traffic, which would put a lot of pressure on transactions.

Anti-Cheat Measures

In perhaps one of the most aggressive anti-cheat measures, the Hamster Kombat team banned 2.3 billion players for cheating. The 6.8 million HMSTR tokens were redistributed, with 50% sent back to genuine players, while the other 50% was to be burned to support the token value.

However, some problems raise questions about the further development of the project. Airdrop analyst Gautam Gupta noted that the project’s development team lacks experience, and the token has few use cases as the potential risks for its further existence. Although Telegram has taken action against cheaters, the team stated that it is still monitoring the airdrop for any signs of cheating.
